Iama Red is crafted in North Evia, an island once celebrated by ancient Greeks for its thriving vineyards and as a key site in the production of famed wines for trade. This wine presents a deep purple colour with aromas of forest fruits, oak, and spices. It features smooth, velvety tannins and a subtle peppery finish. Ideal with grilled lamb or pork, peppered fillets, rich meat dishes, and yellow cheese.
Best served at 18°C.
Maturated in French oak barrels for 12 months.

From a private, selected vineyard in the Vrinioti winery, located on Telethrio Mountain in North Evia. Total area of 25,000 square meters. Sandy soil with a 12% slope gradient, north-east orientation, and an altitude of 400 meters. Cold maceration of grapes for 25 hours, followed by vinification within a controlled environment separately for each variety.
